We are proud of our very special
BATHURST HISTORIC WALK – 7KM
The trail winds along some of Bathurst’s 200+-year-old sand roads, passing several buildings of similar age. These include arguably the oldest school in South Africa, Bathurst Primary School, and the oldest continuously operating pub, the Historic Pig and Whistle Inn. See more on our Village Walks page.
Kew Gardens Project – our own Botanical Garden
Bathurst’s newest project, an enormous effort of the people of our village to uplift our surroundings and re-introduce Kew Gardens, has started in April 2025.
